The women’s Hospital Premier League cricket tournament was organized for the first time at Sardar Patel stadium in valsad to encourage staff nurses, para medical staff & women doctors on duty in various hospitals. A total of 8 teams from Kasturba Hospital, Lotus Hospital, Doctor House, 21st Century Hospital, GMERS Hospital, Mrinal Hospital and Spandan Hospital participated in the tournament. The final of the tournament was played between the teams of Chikhli’s Spandan Hospital and Lotus Hospital, Valsad. Chikhli’s Spandan Hospital became the winner in the final match. Dr. Devangbhai Desai, Dr. Sameerbhai Desai and Dr. Ajaybhai Parmar worked hard to make the tournament a success. The tournament was inaugurated by Dr. Purnimaben Nadkarni. Prizes were distributed to the winners of the tournament.
