The government has been working continuously to balance the sex ratio of newborns in Gujarat. Whali dikari yojana(Scheme) planned to promote the birth of a girl child. In which a special gift is being given to a newborn girl.
In a special meeting held under this scheme, the Valsad Collector gave a special gift & certificate to the newborn girls of Valsad.
Collector RR Rawal said that in areas where the sex ratio is low, the government will launch a campaign for girl child birth. In this endeavor, a campaign should be launched with the participation of women’s organizations and social organizations. Leading women of the area will be made brand ambassadors in this campaign.
