The Valsad Health Department has recently issued a circular about 14-day quarantine mandatory for people coming from the UK. The health department’s decision is due to a new strain of corona found in the UK. Following this circular, the health department in Valsad district has conducted a survey and so far quarantined 9 persons coming from the UK. This move by the health department has put people from the USA or other countries coming to India in confusion. But the Department of Health has not made any rules for people coming from the USA. There is currently no need for anyone coming from the USA to be quarantined. The Gujarat government’s health department has not yet issued any guidelines in this regard. This rule is currently limited to people coming from the UK.
