Shri Damania Soni Mandal Valsad organized a summer carnival (camp) for children providing fun and knowledge. A total of 30 children up to 12 years of age participated in this carnival of Soni Samaj. Bhaktiben Dewangbhai Parekh and Rupeshbhai Parekh, the convenors of the carnival, organized new activities every day.
On the first day, children were taken to Tithal beach to perform yoga and play various games. On the second day, various science experiments were conducted and dentists of the Damania Soni Samaj, Hetvi Saurabhbhai Parekh and Manali, checked the children’s teeth and gave them various tips to protect their teeth.
On the third day Rangoli and Vedic mathematics were taught. On the fourth day, the children were made to visit the Valsad Rural Police Station. Where they were given an understanding about the police operations. Here Rural PI Sachin Pawar spoke very enthusiastically to all the children and taught the children that the police are a friend of the people. On the last day, the children were taken to visit the Dharampur Science Centre. Where children were shown 3D shows of space. They were also shown various science experiments. Throughout the carnival, the children were given various snacks and two gifts a day. Because of this, the children had a unique enthusiasm.
