A blood donation camp was organized by the WREU Valsad branch today on the occasion of the birth anniversary of former president of International Transportation Federation, All India Railway Men’s Federation and Western Railway Employees Union late Umravamal Purohit. 51 blood donors donated blood in this camp.
The program was inaugurated by Prakash Savalkar. All India Railway Men’s Federation Executive President J R Bhonsale, who was the chief guest, offered floral tributes to Umrawal Purohitji.
J R Bhonsle encouraged the blood donors on this occasion. He warned of agitation demanding the central government to implement the old pension scheme from March 21. If the demands of the employees are not accepted by the central government, then on September 21, they called to be ready to enter the Parliament House and get their demands accepted.
On the occasion of this blood donation camp, Mr. Jaydev Raut, who started Rakta Kranti Hindustan Mission from Kolkata on 01/10/2022, came to Valsad after completing a cycle journey of about 10,000 km. whose mission is to cycle 25,000 kilometers. The workers of Valsad Blood Donation Center and the Western Railway Employees Union worked hard to make this Blood Donation Camp a success.
