Kalyan Baug in Valsad was inaugurated on December 26. After it was opened, there was a rush of people in the garden all day on Saturday evening and Sunday. The rush did not maintain social distance and was seen as a violation of Covid’s rules. Due to which the municipality has had to lock up Kalyan Baug.
Valsad Tithal Beach has also had to be closed due to Covid rule. So people turned to Kalyan baug. However, now the garden is also closed for the public. Cases of corona are still coming daily in Valsad. A lockdown has not been imposed in these circumstances, but the administration is trying to stop the transition to Corona by closing the tourist spot.
