With the 31st of December approaching, alcohol consumption is on the rise. To curb this, the Dungari police raided 20 liquor dens simultaneously. In which they seized alcohol from 3 places. The crackdown on bootleggers was sparked by the action of the Pardi police.
Valsad district superintendent of police RajdeepSingh Zala had instructed the police stations to conduct simultaneous raids on liquor dens to eradicate alcohol in celebration of December 31. Following which, Dungri PSI Jaidipsinh Rajput raided a total of 20 liquor dens in the vicinity of his police station. In this raid, they were given desi liquor from 2 places and Foreign liquor worth Rs. 26,875 was found. Pardi police also nabbed woman bootlegger who runs a foreign liquor den. And further investigations have been conducted into the crime.
